Welcome back to the first week of the New Year here at school. I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday. I wanted to let you know what we have been working on.
In language, we have been doing some reading responses, grammar, and will eventually be starting a novel study.
In math, we are continuing our geometry unit. We have been reviewing measuring and creating angles, creating polygons (using a ruler and protractor). We are currently spending time looking at line symmetry, rotational symmetry, and sorting polygons based on symmetry.
